Luigi Galvani was the scientist who discovered the nature of communication between the nervous system and body by electrical impulses.

Luigi Galvani's experimental equipment collection can be found at Palazzo Poggi in Bologna, which houses the university's natural history museum, along with anatomical waxworks of the human body, exotic animals and fossils collected during the history of the science school.

Electricity is linked to life in many ways: the natural flows of energy and matter that encounter an obstacle take on ramified forms. For this reason, lightning has got the same shape as tree roots, corals and soil cracks.

This decoration was created by attaching a linden wood board to a Tesla coil. The energy burns the wood on the surface leaving electrical marks according to random patterns.
